SELF TANNER APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:
-
Exfoliate well before tanning to ensure an even, longer
lasting tan.
- To avoid irritation, wax or shave at least 24 hours before
applying the tanner.
- Apply on clean skin and make sure your skin is completely
dry before applying the product.
- Apply a small amount of moisturiser onto your elbows,
knees, ankles, knuckles and any other areas with dry skin,
as dry skin tends to absorb more of the product.
- Do not apply any lotions, creams or deodorants to any
other areas apart from the above, as they may affect the
colour of the tan.
- Do not shake the bottle before applying the product.
- Apply a small amount of the product onto your tanning
mitt, and blend it onto your skin. Always use the mitt or
wear gloves to avoid tanned palms.
- Make sure you blend the product evenly, paying special
attention to your ankles, knees, elbows, wrists, neck, fingers
and toes. Any streaks are caused by uneven application,
and if you see any little dark bits on your skin, this is
not the tanner but dead skin cells, which you should gently
brush off the body using for example a towel.
- Allow the product to dry for approximately 5 minutes after
application before getting dressed. Wear dark, loose-fitting
clothes. The product comes with a colour guide to help you
apply it evenly, and this colour may come off slightly onto
your clothes, however it will wash off. The colour guide
is not the actual tan; the tan will develop underneath over
3-4 hours. Wash off the guide colour after your tan has
developed.
- Avoid physical activity directly after applying the tanner.
- Moisturise daily to help your tan lasts longer. Exfoliate
after 4-7 days (depending your skin type) to help the tan
fade evenly. Your skin sheds itself naturally but it does
not do this evenly, so by exfoliating you are helping to
ensure your tan remains even.
Warning: This product is for external use only. Contains
no sunscreen. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid eye contact
and spillage. Store in a cool, dark place. Discontinue use
if irritation develops.
