I need a natural looking, long-lasting colour, does Bluff offer this?
Yes. Bluff Self Tanners have been developed & tested jointly with industry specialists and salons to ensure the final result is a totally natural colour that doesn't streak, lasts longer than most self tanners on the market and fades evenly, helping to avoid any patchiness.

Do I need to exfoliate prior to use?
Whilst it is not a requirement to exfoliate prior to tanning, by doing so will help make your tan last even longer. Exfoliating prior to tanning will get rid of any dead skin cells that are about to naturally shed, leaving a fresh layer of new skin on show ready to absorb the tan. Exfoliating will ensure your tan develops evenly without patches, and remains even whilst it naturally fades over the course of 5-7 days.

How soon after application can I get dressed?
Bluff Self Tanners dry to the touch within seconds of application. Unlike many other products out there that are both sticky and take long periods of time to dry, we are proud to give you a self tanning product that lets you get on with your day almost instantly after application.

Does your tanning mousse streak when applied?
Bluff Self Tanners come with a guide colour to make it easy to see where you're applying it. The product applies onto the skin effortlessly and absorbs almost instantly. Of course, every self tanner needs to be applied correctly to avoid any potential streaking - follow the instructions and apply evenly all over the body to achieve the desired look. If you find harder-skinned areas such as knees, ankles, and elbows are more difficult to tan in general, try using a barrier cream first (a moisturiser) to help ensure only a small amount of tanning product goes on and develops naturally to match the rest of your body.

How much is postage & how long does shipping take?
Orders placed before before 2:00pm Mon-Fri will normally be sent out the same day. UK shipping is via First Class Royal Mail post, which generally takes 1-5 working days, however please note that once we have posted your order we cannot control exactly how long Royal Mail take to deliver it (such as Royal Mail Strikes, etc). UK shipping costs £2,50, European Airmail is £3.50, and International Airmail is £4.99. You can select the shipping option you would like during checkout.

Can I use Bluff Self Tanning products on my Face?
Yes. Our Self Tanners have been specially formulated to deliver excellent results on both the face and body every time with minimal effort.

How dark are Bluff Self Tanners?
Our Self Tanner gives you an instant natural to dark tan straight after application, so there is no need to wait around for the colour to develop. Your tan should then last up to 7 days depending on your skin type. The colour is a natural to dark look that will adapt to your own skin tones to deliver a flawless tan. This colour is achieved after one application and if you wish to have a darker tan just re-apply the tanner after 24 hours.

How long does one bottle of tanner last?
We provide you with a large 200ml size bottle, compared to most of our competition who only offer small 118ml sizes, so firstly you get more tan for your money with Bluff. A 200ml bottle should give you several full body applications (10+ depending how much you use). Once opened, the product's active ingredients will remain fresh for at least 9 months.

Are your products tested on animals?
No. All products manufactured and supplied by Bluff are not tested on animals.

Do you offer free samples?
We don't offer free samples, it's just not possible for us! We are however very confident that Bluff Self Tanners will exceed all of your expectations. Having spent years developing the formula, trying and testing the product, trying and testing even further to refine the colour to perfection, gauging feedback from salon owners and customers, we have produced what we believe to be the ultimate Self Tanner, and we'd love you to try it.
